Excited to interview Malcolm Bates who is the author of the out of print book Three Fingers: The Mountain, the Men and the Lookout. This will be a live podcast recording in Darrington on May 5th, 2019 from 3PM-6PM.

His book gave a history of the Darrington Forest Service men and women who scouted the Three Fingers mountain area, built the lookout on the south finger and details on those who served summers on fire watch up there.

We will have food available from a local vendor who offers pulled pork sandwiches from their smoker and soda/water.

At about 5PM we will head a few blocks over to Rivertime Brewery for the raffle and drinks. There will be a gear raffle which usually has some books, stickers, hats and misc hiking swag.

ALL proceeds from this event will be donated to the North Counties Darrington Outdoor Club!
