Follow through sparse trees until reaching a perfect creek crossing at the halfway point of the hike. Having just walked through an old forest fire regrowth, you now find huge cedar trees of old growth. The lake is small, but deep. There is no camping on this trail.
- Get there: From I-5 take Highway 20 east past Marblemount until you cross Gorge Lake near Milepost 126. The parking lot is on the left side of the highway and the trailhead is across the highway at the falls.
